We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we process, why we process it, how we protect it and the choices available to you.

Privacy Policy

1. Controller and contact

MyInBottle is operated by Yusuf Canbaz, Yeniçiftlik Mah. Zeytin Cad. No:17, Türkiye. Phone: 0282 606 05 80. Privacy and support requests: support@myinbottle.com.

2. Data we process

Account and profile data, including email, username, date of birth, profile image and profile fields you choose to provide.
User content, including text, photos, video, voice, stories, comments and messages.
Interaction data, including follows, support actions, ratings, reports, blocks and archive activity.
Optional approximate location and proximity data used for Nearby Stars. Exact coordinates, a map position or street address are not shown to other users.
Interest badges, quiz answers, Soul Map results and film, book and game archive data.
Assistant Bottle messages, responses, drafts, daily usage and non-sensitive preferences you explicitly state. The assistant memory is not designed to infer or store health, religion, politics, sexual life, exact location or similar sensitive data.
Technical and security data such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, push token, error records and abuse-prevention logs.

3. Why we use data

We use data to create and secure accounts; provide posting, discovery, messaging, archives, badges, compatibility and location-based features; send requested notifications; personalize Assistant Bottle responses; moderate content; prevent fraud and abuse; diagnose errors; improve the service; and meet legal obligations.

4. Assistant Bottle and AI

Assistant Bottle may use your message, limited conversation history and relevant profile context to provide guidance and prepare a draft. It never publishes without your approval. Limited conversation history may be retained for up to 90 days. Explicit non-sensitive preferences may remain linked to your account until you say “Forget me,” delete your account or ask support to erase them.

5. Location

Location access is optional and used only for features such as Nearby Stars. You may disable visibility in the app or revoke permission in device settings. We do not sell location data or display precise location to users.

6. Service providers

Turhost for server hosting.
Cloudflare R2 for media storage and delivery.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.
Google Gemini and related AI services for questions, moderation assistance and Assistant Bottle responses.
Apple or Google speech recognition when you voluntarily use voice input.
Resend for verification, password reset and account-security email.

We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party behavioral advertising.

7. Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. We use encrypted HTTPS/TLS communication and access controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion; object to certain processing; withdraw optional permissions; clear Assistant preferences; and delete your account. Requests can be sent to support@myinbottle.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.

9. Adults only

MyInBottle is only for users aged 18 or older. Existing accounts found to belong to a minor are restricted, given a 30-day transition notice and then securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized, except for limited records required by law or safety.

Terms of Use

By creating an account or using MyInBottle, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account and age information.

Your responsibilities

Use the service lawfully and respectfully.
Only upload content you have the right to use.
Protect your login credentials.
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, stalk, spam, manipulate ratings or exploit technical vulnerabilities.
Do not use Nearby Stars to identify, track or expose another person’s location.

Your content

You keep ownership of your content. You grant MyInBottle a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, convert and deliver it solely to operate and improve the service. You may delete content subject to reasonable backup, security and legal retention.

Moderation

We may use automated filters, AI-assisted review, user reports and manual review. We may restrict visibility, remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts when necessary for safety, policy or legal compliance. Users may contact support to appeal an action.

AI features

AI responses can be incomplete or inaccurate and are not medical, legal, financial or emergency advice. Daily use may be limited. Nothing is published by Assistant Bottle without user confirmation.

Service changes and liability

Features may change, pause or end for maintenance, safety, legal or product reasons. To the extent permitted by law, MyInBottle does not guarantee user-generated content or uninterrupted availability and is not responsible for disputes between users.

Community Guidelines

MyInBottle should remain safe, genuine and respectful.

No hate speech, discrimination, targeted humiliation or dehumanizing content.
No harassment, threats, bullying, blackmail, stalking or unwanted repeated contact.
No sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming or content that endangers minors.
No encouragement of violence, self-harm, dangerous conduct or illegal activity.
No non-consensual intimate material, doxxing or disclosure of private information.
No spam, scams, fake engagement, coordinated rating manipulation, impersonation or malicious automation.
No copyright or trademark infringement.

Use the in-app Report and Block tools. Reports may lead to removal, reduced visibility, feature restrictions, suspension or permanent termination. Immediate danger should be reported to local emergency services.

Support and Appeals

For technical problems, account access, privacy requests, moderation appeals or safety reports, email support@myinbottle.com. Include your username, device platform, app version and a clear description. Do not email your password or verification code.

For urgent child-safety concerns, include “Child Safety” in the subject. For immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services first.

Delete Your Account

Open your profile.
Open Settings and Account Information.
Select Delete Account.
Confirm the username shown by the app.

You may also request deletion through support@myinbottle.com. We may ask for account ownership verification. Deletion removes or anonymizes profile data and public content; limited security, fraud-prevention or legally required records may remain for a reasonable period. Deletion cannot normally be reversed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can use MyInBottle?

Only people aged 18 or older.

Is my exact location visible?

No. Nearby Stars uses optional proximity processing and does not show your coordinates, map position or address.

Can Assistant Bottle publish for me?

No. It may prepare a draft and help you choose a sea, but you must review and publish it.

How do I clear Assistant memory?

Tell Assistant Bottle “Forget me.” You may also delete your account or contact support.

How do I report or block someone?

Use the clearly labeled Report or Block action on the content, profile or conversation.

How do translations work?

The app offers translation when content appears to be written in a language different from your selected language.
